About Our History

Formed in May 2003, White Light Communications was initially a part-time effort that became a full-time ad(venture) in January of 2007. During its first year of full-time operation, White Light Communications delivered timely, cost-effective marketing communication services to a variety of organizations and individuals. Through experience we learned we were trying to reach too broad of an audience. Through this discovery White Light Communications is now moving forward in a brand new direction in 2008 and beyond.

With a clearer vision, White Light Communications now uses their vocation as a communicator in three ways:

  • To promote and acknowledge the good works of others by providing timely, cost-effective, high quality marketing communication services to organizations who have limited budgets with which to market their products and services; organizations such as small businesses and not-for-profit organizations with ties to education and human services.
     

  • To help others cope with life's challenges by facilitating comprehensive journaling workshops designed to encourage self-expression and promote self-healing.
     

  • To lead the “The Little Way” by recognizing and acting on inspirational opportunities so others may follow. This is achieved by nurturing a culture of gratitude and volunteering our time as a personal "thank you" to the very community who has given us so much!

About Theresa Fischette

Theresa ...

  • Has a diverse academic background with:

  • A certificate in Project Leadership & Quality Management from Finger Lakes Community College's Business Institute;
  • A B.S. degree in Psychology with a concentration in learning and cognitive development as well as New York State Certification in Elementary Education from SUNY Brockport; and
  • An A.S. degree in Liberal Arts from Monroe Community College.
  • Possesses 30 years combined experience in:
  • Corporate Communications
  • Instructional Design
  • Project Management
  • Quality Assurance
  • Customer Service
  • Training
  • Feels right at home with a pen and paper as well as with the latest technologies, including, but not limited to:
  • Microsoft Access, Excel, FrontPage, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Publisher, Visio, and Word
  • Adobe Acrobat, Captivate, and FrameMaker
  • Macromedia Dreamweaver and RoboHelp
  • Has received numerous recognition awards for outstanding quality, teamwork, and customer service
